Before I start this blog post, I felt that it was important to talk about one of the biggest problems that is effecting the world today. On 25 of May, George Floyd died after a police officer kept his knee on his neck for almost 9 minutes. This type of abuse of power and racism as whole is still a problem in today society worldwide. Unlike fashion this is not a trend, this is an issue that we need to fight against, stand up and say that black lives matter then, now and in future. the world needs to change and there is so many ways that we can do to help. Down below is a link to a website that has a list of all the petitions you can sign to help. If you have taken the time to read this blog please take the time to sign these petitions.

With mesh clothing continuously being a trend, I decided to invest in some mesh tops that would look great dressed up or casual. The tops that i purchased are from Pretty Little Thing, Missguided and I Saw It First.

Missguided Black Dragon Print High Neck Mesh Bodysuit- £14.00
I absolutely love this bodysuit and have worn it several times since purchasing. The bodysuit can be dressed up or casually, for example it can be worn with a pair of joggers and chunky trainers or worn with leather trousers or even a black blazer two piece with a pair of heels. The contrast of the blue and black compliments the bodysuit so nicely and the high neck detail makes it so flattering. This bodysuit is sold out on misguided but I do know that Pretty Little Thing sell one exactly the same.

Pretty Little Thing Rose Renaissance Mesh Long Sleeve Crop Top- £12.00
The renaissance print is something that I have really been loving just now and I think it adds some elegance to this top. I wore a nude bra underneath the top and a pair of black joggers and I feel like it worked very well. This top would also look nice with a pair of light blue jeans. I’m a 32c bra size and a size 8 fits me perfectly.

I Saw It First Baby Pink Mesh Sleeveless Crop Top – £10.00
This top is by far my favourite out of all three. the white and pink make this top so girly and the oriental print just adds a lovely design to it. I wore a white strapless bra underneath. I got a size 10 in this one just because they were sold out of the size 8 and it still fitted me perfectly. I have worn this top with a pair of light blue denim mom jeans and they looked great together. this top is apart of the Sophia and Cinzia collection and they do sell a matching skirt which I think I will order so I can wear the set out when nightclubs eventually open again.
